The Central Police Wives Association has received some help ahead of the Fiji Police Wives tournament in Lautoka next month.
The annual tournament has five divisions playing for top honor in netball and volleyball. As the event will be held in the Western Division, the $500 assistance handed over by Wesram Finance will help cover expenses for the team.
Wesram finance manager Ashwini Singh said they wanted to help the team. “We hope the Central Police Wives will do well and bring back the netball and volleyball titles,” Mrs Singh said.
On hand to receive the donation was Officer in Charge of the Central Command Centre, Assistant Superintendent of Police Iliesa Bolabiu.
“This is one time where our wives can take time out from their everyday activities and enjoy a day of sports with other Police wives from around the country” Bolabiu said.
